AgoraCloud E-invoice (ACE)​

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) is rolling out mandatory e-Invoicing in phases for all commercial taxpayers, with the first phase set to begin on August 1, 2024.​

What is e-Invoice?​

E-Invoice is the Malaysian government’s initiative of converting traditional paper or electronic documents to a digital proof of transaction between a seller and a buyer.

With AgoraCloud e-Invoice Solution (ACE), businesses can generate, submit, process, and receive e-Invoices via IRBM’s MyInvois system through integration between systems. The entire process promotes efficiency, and seamlessly connects businesses and to the e-Invoicing ecosystem​.

How does AgoraCloud E-Invoice (ACE) works?​

Seamless, Smart, IRBM Compliant​

Invoices generated from your billing system flow effortlessly into AgoraCloud E-Invoice (ACE), where they’re automatically validated for accuracy and compliance. Should any issues arise, ACE instantly alerts users and provides clear guidance to resolve them. Only error-free invoices are submitted to theIRBM for processing.

 

Once validated by IRBM, the e-Invoice—now stamped with a Unique Identifier Number—is routed back to ACE and delivered automatically to your customer.​

What type of invoices supported?​

B2B / B2G​

  • ACE supports invoices generated from your accounting system, validating them before seamless submission to IRBM for processing​

B2C Consolidation​

  • ACE supports B2C transactions from POS or eCommerce.​​

  • Customers can request an e-Invoice by simply scanning a QR code on the receipt and entering their details—ACE handles the rest​.​

  • Individual B2C e-Invoices are excluded from the month-end consolidated report to ensure compliance and clarity​.

Self-Billed​

  • ACE handles international procurements and complex expenses like commissions, agent fees, and partner payouts. ​

  • Purchase invoice data can be seamlessly transferred to ACE from your system—or entered manually with ease.​

Marketplaces​

  • ACE supports complex business models—including marketplaces that issue invoices on behalf of other businesses. Whether you're invoicing directly or on behalf of partners, ACE makes it seamless and compliant.​
